From captaining catamarans around Saint Martin and the Virgin Islands to serving as Bosun and First Mate on larger yachts, Garin’s calm confidence, professionalism, and hands-on expertise make him a trusted and engaging leader at sea.
Garin thrives in the dynamic environment of charter sailing and takes great pride in sharing the beauty of the Virgin Islands with guests. Whether he’s trimming sails, navigating hidden anchorages, or helping guests try their hand at the helm, he creates a safe, welcoming, and unforgettable experience for all on board.
Georgie Baxter, originally from the UK, brings warmth, energy, and an eye for detail to her role as Chef and First Mate. With a background in event management and a strong foundation in hospitality, she effortlessly combines organization with charm to deliver exceptional service. Her culinary style is fresh, wholesome, and beautifully presented—creating dishes that nourish and delight, from sunrise breakfasts to vibrant, three-course dinners.
Having recently completed a Caribbean season and a series of charters with Garin, Georgie has honed the art of balancing seamless service with a personal touch. Her love of entertaining and passion for life on the water shines through in every aspect of her work.
Together, Garin and Georgie form a professional, enthusiastic, and well-matched team. Their combined experience, love for sailing, and natural hospitality create the perfect atmosphere for memorable, tailor-made charters in the British Virgin Islands. The BVI was fantastic & y’all made it all more charming. I hope this work brings you much joy and that when the days are hard you lean into each other to get past it.
From the moment we hit the trail through The Baths we all knew this was going to be epic, and Cooper Island was icing on the cake. Barrett knew this place would be special but we had no idea you all would be such a blessing — you give us hope for the next generation & we hope to catch ya in Grenada or another adventure.
If you ever wanna visit us in Decatur, GA (Atlanta) we are happy to host y’all. We are eternally grateful for you both, the rum, the games, the food, and memories that will carry us through rainy days :)
